Jennifer Lopez, born 1969 in an Puerto Rican background family. Lopez started taking classes in dance in her early childhood. When she was 16, she debuted acting in films with a minor role in My Little Girl. In 1991, Lopez received her first TV role as she was cast in In Living Color as a professional dancer. Lopez played the lead role in the police procedural Shades of Blue (2016-18) in which she played an officer who is conflicted. Lopez played a character comical on Second Act, a comedy about a woman who gets given a job offer in an Manhattan law firm by her colleagues after they embellished their resume. Lopez was part of a predominantly female ensemble in Hustlers (2017) which is about strippers who swindle wealthy clients. In 2022, she starred as the wife in two romantic comedies. In Marry Me the pop singer, who discovers that her fianc has been cheating, marries the mathematician during one of her performances after she finds out.
