Ashford portrayed Paula Jones, the main actor in Ryan Murphy's upcoming FX program American Crime Story Impeachment. For two seasons, she was the main character of CBS's hit comedy B Positive. Not a stranger to Broadway Ashford has been awarded both the Tony Drama Desk Award and the Outer Critics Circle Awards with her performance as Essie. Sunday in the Park with George Wicked legally blonde and the originating part of Lauren in Kinky Boots were among her other Broadway roles. Ashford divides her time between Los Angeles & New York.
